Applications

Camlock couplings in agriculture, chemical, fuel, food, marine and bulk handling — the right material, type and gasket for the duty.

Applications

Camlock selection starts with the duty: what is being transferred, at what pressure and temperature, and how often the line is connected and disconnected. From that, the material, the type letter and the gasket compound follow.

Agriculture & Irrigation

Water and liquid fertilizer transfer for pivots, drip and flood irrigation. Aluminum couplings with EPDM gaskets cover most farm duties; polypropylene for fertigation chemicals.

Chemical Transfer

Acid, solvent and chemical loading and unloading with polypropylene or 316 stainless couplings and Viton or PTFE gaskets — compatibility checked at service temperature, not from a generic chart.

Fuel & Oil Transfer

Gasoline, diesel, lube and hydraulic oil lines. Brass couplings where spark risk and thread strength matter; aluminum with NBR gaskets for standard fuel transfer.

Food & Beverage

Sanitary transfer of milk, juice, beer, wine and edible oils with 304/316 stainless couplings and food-grade EPDM or silicone gaskets that stand up to washdown and CIP cycles.

Marine & Offshore

Saltwater, ballast and deck wash systems with 316 stainless or aluminum couplings and marine-grade gaskets. Tool-free hookup keeps crew time short.

Water, Dewatering & Fire

Site water, dewatering, fire-fighting and municipal connections where a quick, tool-free coupling on a suction or delivery line saves hours.

IBC & Bulk Handling

IBC tote, tanker and drum connections for bulk chemical and food transfer — threaded adapters and camlock-to-sanitary transitions keep totes on standard 2" thread.

For a specific duty — fluid, pressure, temperature and connection size — send us the operating conditions and we will come back with coupling options and figures.
